This year, the Mujin End-of-Year celebration was held on December 23 (Friday) during lunch at our decorated cafeteria. Some of our valuable members were on the customer site for integration (THANK YOU a lot for keeping Mujin up!!!) and some already left home for holiday, but it was a great opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere together with many of us.
Our Michelin-starred chef cooked us a fantastic buffet-style holiday-inspired lunch. Good food doesn’t just bring people together, but it can turn an event from a “meh” to amazing! In our opinion, food is the glue that binds people together. Good food builds a great atmosphere. And it certainly gets people talking!
That’s why we offer a variety of delicious, restaurant-quality meals every day at Mujin Headquarters.
This year we had chef’s special hot platters come with crowd-pleasers such as Japanese beef with veggies and Japanese style treat fried chicken with potato accompanied with mashed potato, peas, and lentils; chef’s special cold platters with different kinds of meat and fish starters. French cheese, potato, and prosciutto salad accompanied with caviar.
The chef also provided vegetarian (veggie curry), halal (chicken and lamb), and other options in accordance with any dietary restrictions some employees have.
There’s always room for dessert!
This year the chef made Buche de Noel; a cake shaped like a log. I was a heavenly flourless chocolate cake rolled with whipped cream and strawberry and decorated with confectioners’ sugar to resemble snow on a yule log. It doesn’t just look beautiful – it tastes wonderful, too!
The highlight of this day was a sumptuous candy craft Christmas tree! Look at it. What else can you expect from a true professional?
This year, the event was opened by one of our talented employees, whose hobby is beatboxing! Imagine, the Jingle Bells song in beatboxing interpretation. That was a top!
After that, we engaged employees with a fun holiday-themed quiz. We had questions related to the holiday celebration traditions in different countries, and then questions regarding their teammates and Mujin itself, and the winner got small gifts. It was a fun and happy moment.
Every year new challenges continue to emerge as we continue to grow, but Mujin will continue to work passionately to enhance worldwide productivity and contribute to society. Happy Holidays!
