This year, Mujin marked a significant milestone – 13 years of innovation and growth. With our team expanding rapidly, finding a location to accommodate everyone proved challenging. However, the perfect spot was right under our noses: the Mujin HQ office! And so, we decided to celebrate our anniversary in the place where it all happens.
Both founders, Issei and Rosen, participated in the event, delivering inspirational speeches that recapped our achievements and hinted at exciting developments on the horizon. It was a treat to receive updates about Mujin Global, accompanied by pictures and videos showcasing our colleagues from Mujin entities around the world. It was a beautiful reminder of the diverse and talented team that makes Mujin what it is today.
As a token of appreciation, all Mujinians received exclusive design T-shirts – a beloved tradition at our anniversary parties. This year’s design highlighted the MujinController platform, which leverages Machine Intelligence technology to give robotic systems real-time decision-making capabilities. This innovation is crucial in enabling truly autonomous, reliable, and production-capable robot applications.
The evening continued with an award ceremony where we celebrated outstanding employees. Team leaders provided detailed nominations, and division heads faced the tough task of selecting the top five individuals. The criteria included:
- Specific achievements and objective examples of contribution
- High positive impact on Mujin’s growth and success
- Embodiment of our core values
Each winner had demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill, making a significant difference in our journey.
Following the formalities, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner prepared by our talented Mujin chef. The menu featured delicacies like wagyu, sashimi, cheese, and meat platters. As a special touch, the chef crafted a magnificent cake, which was ceremoniously cut by our founders.
And what better way to conclude a celebration in Japan than with a karaoke afterparty? It was a delightful surprise to see some of our colleagues reveal hidden talents, like a project manager belting out a song from “The Little Mermaid”! The night was filled with laughter, music, and camaraderie.
Overall, it was a fantastic evening filled with joy and reflection on our shared journey. Here’s to 13 years of innovation, and here’s to many more as we continue to change the world together!
